Rules, Regulations, & Restrictions

 

Safe Harbor Marinas reserves the right to amend, suspend, end or change the Safe Harbor Membership Benefits & the Rules, Regulations, & Restrictions at any time without notice. By registering your Safe Harbor Black Card or participating in Safe Harbor’s Membership Benefits, you agree to be bound by the Safe Harbor Membership Benefits Rules, Regulations, & Restrictions.

Newly acquired Safe Harbor properties are subject to a 90-day onboarding period during which Safe Harbor Membership Benefits are not eligible for use by existing Members (including transient nights and fuel and retail discounts) at those properties. Members of newly acquired properties are also subject to a 90-day onboarding period in which they are not eligible for Black Card benefits.

Safe Harbor Members must meet one (1) of the following two (2) requirements to qualify as an ANNUAL MEMBER:

1) Individual must be signed to a current annual storage/slip lease agreement complete with insurance requirements.
– OR-
2) Individual must be a current storage/slip customer for twelve (12) consecutive months or more (looking back) with a complete lease agreement with insurance requirements.

Safe Harbor Members must meet one (1) of the following two (2) requirements to qualify as a SEASONAL MEMBER:

1) Individual must be signed to a current summer dockage contract complete with insurance requirements (slip lease or in/out rack lease).
– OR-
2) Individual must be signed to a current winter storage contract complete with insurance requirements.

Rules, Regulations, & Restrictions

 

1) In order to receive Membership Benefits, Member must have a credit card on file at their home port & maintain a current account. Black Card benefits will be suspended for Members with any charge over 60 days past due until such Member pays all past due amounts.
2) Black Card must be present in order to receive fuel and retail discounts.
3) All Safe Harbor Membership Benefits (including free transient night stays) are only redeemable during the calendar year they were issued. Unused benefits do not roll over to the following year.
4) Black Card benefits do not apply at Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club facilities.
5) FUEL DISCOUNTS:
    • i. Fuel Discounts do not apply at leased fuel docks.
    • ii. Fuel Discount is not valid for commercial operations & operators.
    • iii. Fuel Discount cannot be combined with negotiated volume discounts.

6) RETAIL DISCOUNTS:

    • i. Retail discounts offer 10% off to retail merchandise and do not apply to service work orders or parts sales.
    • ii. Retail discounts do not apply at leased retail operations.

7) TRANSIENT NIGHTS:

    • i. Free Transient Nights are subject to location availability.
    • ii. The following restrictions apply to Free Transient Night benefits:
      • a. The following Blackout dates apply at all South Carolina properties, South Harbour Village and Bahia Blue:
        • i. ALL nights from May 1 – July 1
        • ii. ALL nights from October 1 – December 1
        • iii. ALL Holidays
      • b. Blackout dates apply at all Florida properties on the following dates:
        • i. ALL nights from November 1 – May 1
        • ii. ALL Holidays
      • c. The following Member savings apply at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard:
        • i. 25% Member savings on daily dockage rate from May 15 – October 15
        • ii. 50% Member savings on daily dockage rate from October 16 – December 31
      • d. Blackout dates apply at Safe Harbor Mystic, Safe Harbor Greenport, Safe Harbor Stirling, Safe Harbor Hawthorne Cove, Safe Harbor Jamestown Boatyard, and Safe Harbor Plymouth on the following dates:
        • i. ALL weekends (Friday & Saturday) from July 1 – September 7
        • ii. ALL Holidays
      • e. Blackout dates apply at Safe Harbor Sportsman on the following dates:
        • i. ALL nights from May 1 – September 30

8) 2021 HOLIDAYS:

    • • Memorial Day (Friday, May 28 – Monday, May 31)
    • • Independence Day (Friday, July 2 – Monday, July 5)
    • • Labor Day (Friday, September 3 – Monday, September 6)
    • • Columbus Day (Friday, October 8 – Monday, October 11)
    • • Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 25 – Sunday, November 28)
    • • Christmas (Friday, December 24 – Sunday, December 26)
