The staff at Safe Harbor Wisdom Dock went above and beyond to help us out last week when we ran into an issue while out on the water. I can't say enough positive things about Wisdom Dock and their manager, Josh. He went above and beyond for us. These are the kind of people I would definitely want to do business with in the future!

Easy to unload and load boats, not to crowded and caught lots of fish.

Dale Hollow Lake

Known far and wide as one of the most pristine lakes in the nation, Tennessee’s Dale Hollow Lake makes for an ideal family vacation destination. Surrounded by lush rolling hills and featuring over 600 miles of unspoiled shoreline, the area is a popular hub for relaxation and recreation alike. Anglers of all skill levels love fishing for bass in these waters, and nature-enthusiasts relish hiking, biking, and horseback riding along the trails along the water. Camping, birdwatching, golfing, watersports, and houseboating are also popular activities.

Onsite Lodging

Safe Harbor Wisdom Dock offers the added convenience of onsite lodging accommodations for our Members and guests. Our modern-style rooms are perched right along gorgeous Dale Hollow Lake and feature covered slips for your vessel right outside your door.

Dale Hollow Dam

This impressive reservoir straddling the Kentucky/Tennessee border was completed in 1943 by damming the Obey River above its junction with the Cumberland River at river mile 380. Created initially for flood control and power generation, the area surrounding the dam has become a recreational oasis for more than 3 million visitors every year. It also serves as an excellent cold water hub for rainbow and brown trout and features 78 campsites perfect for overnight stays.
