The outdoor patio offers beautiful views of boats coming to and from the harbor and is perfect for enjoying a pleasant lunch or dinner and the cool ocean breeze. Be sure to check the latest days and hours of operation prior to your visit, as they are subject to change seasonally.

Jeffrey’s Ledge

One of the Gulf of Maine’s best-kept secrets, Jeffrey’s Ledge is a vast underwater plateau that runs from southern Maine to northern Massachusetts. Known for its spectacular deep-sea fishing and flourishing aquatic wildlife, this area is prime for spotting whales, dolphins, sharks, seals, and a wide variety of birds. Depending on the time of year, anglers can expect to encounter cod, cusk, haddock, hake, pollock, redfish, and tuna, among others. Local charters are available for booking if you prefer to explore with a seasoned guide.

Great Bay

The Great Bay is a tidal estuary that spans over 6,000 acres and contains several tidal tributaries. It is home to an impressive variety of land and aquatic wildlife and is ideal for spending a day immersing yourself in gorgeous natural surroundings. Anglers can expect to encounter striped bass, Atlantic herring and Atlantic salmon, just to name a few, and kayakers will love navigating among the marsh grasses and intertidal zones. The hikers in your crew will relish the opportunity to explore the Great Bay National Estuarine Reserve, and birders will enjoy spotting the extensive variety of wading and shore birds.

Odiorne Point State Park

Situated on the Atlantic seacoast in the town of Rye, near Portsmouth, Odiorne State Park provides excellent recreational opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. Explore the shoreline for stunning views of the sea and to hunt for the ideal picnic spot. There are also several educational points of interest at the park, including historical sites like Fort Dearborn and the Seacoast Science Center, where you can learn more about the flora and fauna that inhabit the area. A fantastic spot to spend a day or afternoon with your crew.

Seacoast Science Center

Nestled in beautiful Odiorne State Park, the Seacoast Science Center is home to a number of excellent exhibits on the native wildlife, including the Tidal Pool Touch Tank, where you can directly interact with sea stars, hermit crabs, sea urchins, and more. Learn about the local ecosystem, observe sea organisms under a microscope, or explore the world of underwater sea exploration. This fun and educational attraction makes for a great family outing and has something that is sure to interest everyone in your crew.

Strawberry Banke Museum

Strawbery Banke Museum is a vibrant nearly 10-acre campus dedicated to bringing 300+ years of American history to life through dozens of historic buildings on their original sites, heirloom gardens, hands-on traditional crafts, and engaging costumed roleplayers sharing the experiences of those who lived and worked in the waterfront neighborhood of Puddle Dock.
