Incredibly friendly and helpful Marina staff that always lends a helpful hand. The Marina is run well and has by far the best dock staff on the lake. They also have a clean facility and their store is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy on the lake. I am so happy I decided to dry storage our jetski to Skippers Landing, I would highly recommend.

Lake Norman Fishing
Spanning 34 miles and featuring 520 miles of shoreline, Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina. Anglers from all over the world come here in hopes of catching record-winning catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, and yellow and white perch. Choose from one of many local chartered and seasoned fishing guides to scout the best spots for your big catch. There are also several piers to fish from on the lake.
Lake Norman State Park
Home to the largest man-made lake in North Carolina, Lake Norman State Park boasts some of the most popular mountain biking trails in the region. Located on the lake’s northern shore near Troutman in Iredell County, the 1,942-acre park is also a prime destination for camping and group camping. There is also a boat ramp, a beach for swimming, plenty of fishing spots along the shore, and a bathhouse complex to accommodate visitors.
Davesté Vineyards
This Lake Norman vineyard, winery, and private event venue is the perfect destination for spending an afternoon or evening with your crew. Makers of award-winning North Carolina wine, Davesté Vineyards is set on a 60-acre property and features a tasting room, art gallery, event venue, and rows of world-class grapes as far as the eye can see.
