The walking trail is well kept up and smooth enough to accommodate my walker. There is a large grassy area for dogs to run. There is a leash law, but it doesn't seem to be enforced for small dogs. The walk down the pier gives a beautiful view of the Bay and San Francisco, and is alongside the marina where there are many beautiful boats. There are clean, well maintained public restrooms and quite a bit of public parking (but most of the parking is for marina members and nearby residents. Clean marina with plenty of free parking. Great boats with better captains, take your pick. Also have a crab cooking station right off the dock so you can cook up your crabs directly off the boat. Doesn't get much fresher! $15 to cook and cool down 10 crab (a full daily limit), $25 to have them cleaned as well, so you just take home cooked and ready to eat crab! Mmmmm...andrewyongk 5 years ago

A quite well maintained and calm place to spend a quiet evening. The views are really nice and you can see all three bridges (Golden gate, Bay Bridge, Richmond ) from here. Emeryville Marina is well kept, well managed place with many places to barbecue. If you are there early enough, you can get place, that even has no wind, as it’s bellow Bay level. Reservations are not required. Everything is on first come bases. It’s also a nice, safe place to walk, play games, and have fun. It has plenty of parking. Emeryville marina has a wonderful atmosphere with nice picnic and park like settings , easy to walk, park, ride bike and access the facilities. There are rental boats and restaurants and toilet facilities. Great views of the bay and city.REED583 7 years ago
