Love this place! We have been storing a boat there since October and receive excellent service. Dock hands are always helpful and will go the extra mile. This service definitely trickles from the top down with Shane leading the team. Our buying experience with Annamarie was fast and easy. I swear she knows everyone that steps foot on that property. I highly recommend ECM!

Doug A.

Safe Harbor Emerald Coast is 5 star one of best boating club and storage areas in the panhandle. Annamarie the boat club manager also deserves a 5 star with her customer service skills always going above and beyond.

Angela B.

The service here is the best I've ever experienced. They literally took care of everything for me. Extremely informative as well. Could not be more satisfied. Will be a customer for life.

The Local’s Eatery

This award-winning eatery has been a steady Destin favorite since opening in 2018 and features a delicious assortment of seafood, (they’ll even cook your catch) chicken, steak, smoked meats, and locally sourced veggies. With a rustic, down-home feel and the option to dine indoors or under a covered patio overlooking the Boggy Bayou, Local’s lives up to its ideal of serving as the “neighborhood’s living room” and is one of the best spots around for a casual bite to eat. Best of all–Safe Harbor Members receive a 10% discount.

Crab Island

In 2020, Boating Magazine named Destin one of the ‘Top 10 Places to Live and Boat’ in the U.S., and we’d bet the farm that Crab Island is one of the main reasons why. This expansive stretch of sandbar is large enough to host hundreds of boats, jet-skis, and paddlers at one time, making it the perfect spot to hang out, swim, and soak up the sun.

Destin Pass

The harbor is conveniently located 7 miles away from Destin Pass, the gateway to the Gulf of Mexico and Crab Island, and the nearest point for deep water fishing.

Doc’s Oyster Bar

Only a couple miles away from the marina, this fun little spot is a self described “lively shack with local beer, terrace dining, and water views.” Doc’s keeps it down home, serving up Cajun style seafood, po’boys, gumbo, peel n’ eat shrimp and a classic southern delicacy: boiled peanuts. If you’re looking for something simple, satisfying, and delicious after a day on the water, make a beeline for Doc’s.

Dewey Destins

If you’re looking for the quintessential Destin experience, making a trip to Dewey Destin’s should be at the very top of your list. Ever since Dewey’s great-great-grandfather, Leonard Destin, founded the iconic Gulf beach town back in 1835, this thriving locale has been the coveted spot for fresh seafood. Dewey’s carries on the legacy of generations of Destins by serving up the best the sea has to offer. The menu revolves around the fresh catch of the day, which typically includes sea trout, grouper, swordfish, snapper, cobia, red fish, and more. (They’ll even cook your catch to perfection and serve it up family style.) Classic seafood favorites like crab cakes, scallops, and peel n’ eat shrimp are also available here, along with steak, chicken, sandwiches, and more.
