Safe Harbor Angler House has the old Florida charm of the historic Keys complemented by modern touches throughout the property. The two-story tiki hut includes the Canoe Club bar upstairs and a lounge downstairs that can cater to private events and meeting spaces. Outside vendors are welcome at the property to support any event.

Florida Everglades – National Park Marine Sanctuary
The National Park Service describes the Everglades as “the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States.” This treasure trove of natural wonders encompasses 1.5 million acres of wetland and serves as a sanctuary to a number of endangered species, including the manatee, American crocodile, and the Florida panther. There are numerous ways to explore the park, including guided tours by canoe, kayak, tram, and airboat. Hiking allows you to go at your own pace, while bicycle rentals are available to those who want to cover more ground. Adventure loving types will enjoy camping along the 99-mile Wilderness Waterway for an immersive experience in this fascinating ecosystem. Be sure to plan your visit in advance and take into account fluctuating seasonal conditions.
Square Grouper
This popular dining spot has been serving up innovative takes on fresh and local seafood in Islamorada since 2003. The atmosphere is refined, but charming in all the right ways, from the sunny patio seating to the chalkboard specials for lunch and dinner. Get the meal started right with the Yellowfin Tuna and Avocado Eggrolls before moving on to the Square Grouper Seafood Stew or the Truffled Lobster Mac. A delicious assortment of pasta, steak, and chicken dishes round out the menu, with plenty of options for salad, soup, tacos, and jasmine rice bowls in between.
